In her critically-acclaimed memoirs, LL Kirchner explores what it means to be a woman in contemporary society through the lens of sobriety, spirituality, and love. Her work combines humor with “her discerning eye” (Foreword Reviews). Or, as an NPR interviewer said, her work was “like Eat, Pray, Love, but funny.”
Her career has been two-fold. While developing her voice as a columnist for alternative newsweeklies, magazines, and newspapers , Kirchner worked in arts and education, serving as the communications director for organizations ranging from The Andy Warhol Museum to Carnegie Mellon University. She also worked on the corporate side for Burson Marstellar and Ketchum Public Relations.
Her life took a detour when she decided to leave the corporate world and move to India to study yoga and meditation.
In her talks she combines ancient wisdom with fresh insights on contemporary topics.
